When you stand at the centre, surrounded by these Op-Art walls, it indeed feels a bit like a cathedral, which is how the creative minds involved envisioned it.

And the art? Prepared to be challenged, perplexed, surprised. Most importantly, here is a powerful voice coming out of Africa, speaking for Africa, and using African tools and materials. At a time when the rest of the world is desperate for new inspiration, and our fashion, jewellery and design spheres are creating waves, the MOCAA is an amazing addition to the African renaissance.
