We had such fun doing it, and clearly so many of you off-road enthusiasts had just as much fun reading it, that we decided to do it all over again. We had such fun with our first book, we decided to do it all over again. In this book, we embarked on 10 new trips, venturing a little further afield via remote northern Kruger to Mozambique. We explored new national parks, from Namaqua, Addo and Karoo to Marakele and Mapungubwe; we marvelled at the Motlatse-Blyde Canyon and wound up 11 wondrous Eastern Cape passes; revisited Lesotho; trundled across the Richtersveld Transfrontier Park. Throughout we’ve tried our best to give you sage advice. The roads we expressly chose, those we avoided, what we loved en route, what stuck in our gullet.
